Resource Description:
LOCAL SERVICE The Chaffee Shuttle is a shared ride and public transit service within Chaffee County, operating 6 wheelchair accessible vehicles (4 in Salida and 2 in Buena Vista). Transportation is provided for medical appointments, work, shopping and social activities within the county.
Although this service is free, donations are appreciated and help us keep the service available. Suggested (but not required) donations are:
- Around Salida: $2 – $5
- Poncha Springs, Howard, Mesa Antero, Nathrop: $5 – $10
- Buena Vista to Salida (or visa versa): $10 – $20
