In northern Chaffee County, the Buena Vista Health Center offers a walk-in clinic available for non-urgent needs seven days a week when patients cannot get a same-day sick appointment with their primary care provider. The walk-in clinic is first-come, first served (no appointments available), and should NOT be used for emergencies or traumatic injuries, such as heart attack, stroke, major abdominal or injuries or trauma, major head injury, severe broken bones, and more. Patients with severe injuries should go directly to our emergency department in Salida.
