CCECC has many active members, including school districts, community-based childcare providers, home visitation programs, the Department of Human Services, Public Health, pregnancy centers, local mental health professionals, and parents. Since Chaffee County Early Childhood Council began in 2007, our strategic plan has guided our work. We evaluate and update our strategic plan each year and develop a new one every five years. In November of 2023, CCECC members, service providers, staff, and contractors met to develop a new strategic plan. Our new plan has four strategic priorities: Access to high-quality childcare, Children will start school ready to learn, Support our early childhood workforce, and Connect families with resources. Visit www.ccecc.org for more resources and keep up to date on new ones by signing up for our newsletter.
