The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) at the Salida Community Center provides nutritious food each month to low-income individuals, families, and seniors across Chaffee County. Guided by a belief that no neighbor should go hungry, the program is powered by dedicated volunteers and strong community partnerships. TEFAP supports over 800 people every month, ensuring reliable access to essential food resources in a welcoming, compassionate environment.
