I am a licensed professional counselor candidate (LPCC) offering clinical mental health counseling services to Colorado residents. I see clients online and in person in Salida, CO. My work is supervised by Renee Duricy, LCSW, Shana Dobson, LPC and Jason Sienknecht, LPC. I support clients in finding healing and wholeness within themselves because this often translates to feeling more embodied, expansive and authentic in how we show up in our lives. Additionally, I prioritize attention to somatic practices that help clients feel safe to experience their emotions. I work primarily with adults in areas such as trauma, abuse, codependence, relationships, body image, and chronic illness with an emphasis on supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. I am sex, kink and non-monogamy positive.
My work is informed by my lived experiences as an ex-evangelical, queer woman. I operate from a feminist and relational cultural lens in order to view clients within the context of their lives and with respect to the unique identities they carry. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy and often draw on modalities informed by mindfulness, Gestalt theory, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and somatics. I believe it’s never too late to come home to yourself whether you’ve endured trauma, loss, marginalization or other forms of harm and heartbreak.
