Overview
The Salida Pregnancy Resource Center offers free, confidential support and education to individuals and families facing pregnancy-related decisions and needs. The Center provides accurate information, compassionate guidance, and material assistance in a safe, welcoming environment, empowering people to make informed choices and access the resources they need. 

Mission & Philosophy
The mission of the Salida Pregnancy Resource Center is to support the community through life-affirming action, centered on the belief that every human life is valuable and deserving of dignity. The Center provides truthful information, emotional support, and practical resources to women and men navigating pregnancy questions and parenting concerns, with services offered free of charge and in confidence. 

Services & Resources
The Center offers a range of no-cost, confidential services designed to support pregnancy needs, parenting preparation, and connection to community resources:

  • Pregnancy Tests: Lab-quality pregnancy testing to confirm pregnancy. 
  • Limited Ultrasounds: Ultrasound exams to determine viability and gestational progress. 
  • Pregnancy Counseling & Information: One-on-one support with accurate information about pregnancy options, including adoption, and community referrals. 
  • Material Assistance: Help with essential items such as diapers, bottles, and other baby needs as new parents begin their journey.
  • Post-Abortion Support: Emotional support for individuals navigating feelings after an abortion experience. 
  • Positive Parenting Essentials: Video-based curriculum that promotes personal growth and parenting skills, with opportunities to earn support items. 
  • Adoption Referrals: Connections to credible adoption agencies and educational resources for those considering adoption. 
  • Community Assistance Referrals: Referrals to additional local organizations for broader financial or stability-building support. 

All services are offered free and confidential, with a focus on education, support, and connection to helpful resources in the broader community.
