Alpine Achievers Initiative

Alpine Achievers Initiative (AAI) inspires, connects and nurtures youth, families and communities in rural Colorado.  We do so through:

• Increasing academic performance by paring an Americorps members with struggling students
• Backyard to Backcountry Program–connecting youth with the southern Colorado outdoors.
• Building positive peer networks and prosocial skills through Girls Circle and Boys Council
• Mindful Schools–increasing moment to moment awareness of body, thoughts and emotions; decreasing stress and increasing resilience and self-regulation.
