Alpine Achievers Initiative (AAI) inspires, connects and nurtures youth, families and communities in rural Colorado. We do so through:

Increasing academic performance by paring an Americorps members with struggling students
Backyard to Backcountry Program–connecting youth with the southern Colorado outdoors.
Building positive peer networks and prosocial skills through Girls Circle and Boys Council
Mindful Schools–increasing moment to moment awareness of body, thoughts and emotions; decreasing stress and increasing resilience and self-regulation.
