We are a non-profit organization called BV HOPE: Helping Others Protecting Everyone. It is a local chapter of “The A21 Campaign”. There are an estimated 27 million children, women and men who have been abducted and exploited into slavery doing hard labor, or domestic and sexual services throughout the world. Our Mission Statement: “To prevent human trafficking through education” We do this through:
- School programs
- Health professional programs
- Community awareness events
- We have monthly meetings at the Chaffee County Public Health Conference Room (112 Linderman Ave., Buena Vista) on the 3rd Friday of each month at 3:00 pm. PLEASE USE THE SOUTH ENTRANCE.
Haven for Hope is our new project goal to open a survivor sanctuary for adult women survivors to heal and recover. We are looking for donations, either monetary, volunteer time, or items for auction.
