Chaffee Cares (The Rainy Day Fund)

This program is designed to help individuals and families in Chaffee County with needs that fall outside of the parameters of other social service programs.  Requests for assistance can range from clothing and supplies for the homeless to dental work, to eye glasses and beyond.  It’s for helping those who fall through the cracks.  THE ORGANIZATION ONLY TAKES APPLICATIONS AND REFERRALS FROM THIRD PARTY PROFESSIONALS WHO WORK DIRECTLY WITH ADULTS, FAMILIES, CHILDREN AND SENIORS, SUCH AS SCHOOL DISTRICT STAFF, MEDICAL, MENTAL AND PUBLIC HEALTH STAFF, FAITH-BASED LEADERS, AND NON-PROFIT PROGRAM DIRECTORS.
